Activities in Tolo:
A variety of water sports are available such as water skiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, scuba diving and banana and ringo rides. Swimming in the shallow, warm sea and sunbathing go without saying.

Motor boat rentals by the day or a few of hours, take a picnic and visit the other local beaches of Kastraki, Drepano, Vivari, Candia (Kondyli) and Iria plus the islands in Tolo bay Koronis, Romvi & Plateia.

Tolo's main road follows the beach for the length of the village and is lined with shops, tavernas, restaurants, bars and cafeterias. Wander along the street, enjoy a coffee, a drink or a delicious meal in one of the restaurants along the road or one of the beachfront tavernas.

Walkers and ramblers all year round walk across the mountains behind Tolo even as far as Nafplion - see the breathtaking views of the bay or the flowers and wildlife of the immediate area.

Activities from Tolo:
Visit Nafplion just 10kms from Tolo, the first capital of Greece after its independence from the Turk . Wander around the old city with its narrow Venetian streets and overhanging balconies, take time out for a coffee or a drink in one of the many cafes or  stop in the main square. Nafplio has a long history and as such houses numerous historical monuments, castles and museums. The Folklore Museum, Archaeological Museum, Military Museum, Worry Bead museum and Ouzo museum are great places to spend some time. Nafplion is a magical city with a fun, cosmopolitan atmosphere day and night. The nearby beach of Nea Kios also has a kite surfing club for enthusiasts.

Take one of the daily cruises form the harbour of Tolo to the islands of Spetses, Hydra or Poros or the longer trip to Monemvasia (during the peak season only).

Hire a car and explore the area at your own pace. There are many smaller archaeological sites and places of interest that can only be reached by car in addition to the larger sites of Epidarvos & Mycenae for example. We will be pleased to advise you and even to organise the car hire on your behalf.

Take a trip to some of the most famous archaeological areas of Greece from Tolo such as Mycenae or the Ancient Theatre of Epidavros. Take a trip down the Corinth Canal and visit the wine producers of Nemea.
